Who are we ?

L'Alchimiste offers new “signature cocktails of chefs with and without alcohol”, which are both more natural, less sweet and contemporary.

Our history

Since its creation in 2016, the Alchimiste has created signature cocktails with a thousand flavors around the world. Its founders, Mélinda Guérin-White and Matthias Giroud, have given themselves the primary mission of providing consumers with a unique and artistic “drinking experience”.

L'Alchimiste thus puts the art of the cocktail at the service of a much greater, exclusive experience that awakens all the senses. His creations are as visual as they are gustatory and now combine magnificently with other worlds such as gastronomy (cuisine and wine), tableware or design.

Matthias Giroud

Matthias Giroud

Matthias, internationally renowned chef mixologist and best-selling author, is the group's managing director. Avant-garde and creative, he embodies the artistic direction of the Alchemist's projects and experiments.

Worldwide recognized in the world of mixology. Matthias
began his career in 1998 at Bar Fly in Paris, and successively held the positions of bar manager at Bound, Buddha bar, Barrio Latino and Barlotti in Paris. With his wealth of experience in trendy Parisian nightlife venues, in 2008 he took responsibility for the world development of Bars for the entire George V Eatentertainment Group (including Buddha Bar). He has created and implemented different concepts all over the world.

Drawing on his creativity and his in-depth vision of world trends & flavors, Matthias transcribes them in his cocktail & soft cocktail creations. He always develops new tastes and new techniques and makes each experience unique like a work of art!

Melinda Guerin White

Mélinda Guérin White

Mélinda has been operating in the hospitality market for many years. With strong knowledge of the market and trends, she is in charge of the company's sales, marketing and finance departments.

A graduate of NEOMA Business School, Melinda worked for more than 15 years in the world of drinks and Wines and Spirits.

When she founded l'Alchimiste in 2O16 with Matthias Giroud, Mélinda brought her marketing expertise, her strategic vision as well as her extensive knowledge of the CHR market. It has a unique ability to link the consumer experience, market trends and the needs of its customers and partners.

Together, they form a stellar duo and manage their team of talents brilliantly to offer you ever more qualitative and original recipes.

French artisans located in Ile de France

We are French artisans whose production and bottling workshop is located in 92. Our teams produce and bottle all of our cocktails by hand.

Fresh products & an eco-responsible approach

L'Alchimiste offers a range of cocktails based on fresh, natural products without artificial flavors or colorings. We are also committed to having ever more responsible production.

Signatory of the 1% for the planet charter

Since the end of 2023, we have been committed to donating 1% of their annual turnover excluding tax to associations pre-selected by the label.

CSR, a subject at the heart of our activity

All our deliveries in IDF are ensured by an electric vehicle.
We use lighter glassware for our bottles, and recycle the bottles used at events as much as possible.

Sustainable development, a subject at the heart of our activity

L'Alchimiste adopts an eco-responsible approach to its activities. This mainly results in the use of environmentally friendly products with a preference for fresh, local and seasonal products, by the choice of packaging purchased in France, and by the optimization of manufacturing processes. During the preparation stage, for example, the use of each ingredient – ​​from the peel to the juice – is optimized in order to limit waste.
